The Next Big Cataclysm - Is a Shift on the Way?

The people who study ancient monuments like the Pyramids of Giza, Stonehenge, Chichen Itza, the Sphinx, and others tend to point out how perfectly aligned they are with true north or the rising sun on equinoxes and solstices.

Yet if we are to accept the universal "fact" that our continents are currently drifting apart at a rate of a half-inch to four inches a year, these monuments would no longer be aligned with anything significant.

Going with the most conservative estimate, Chichen Itza would have moved 80 to 100 feet by now, Stonehenge would have moved 330 to 430 feet and the Pyramid of Giza 400 to 500 feet.

What that tells us is that the continents have not been drifting slowly as long as we are led to believe. And that worries me.

It is possible that the continents have not moved at all since these famous monuments were built and the movement that we measure now is a brand new phenomenom - within the last 50 years or so. Which is the same time period that mankind has had the tools to make such precise measurements and keep good records. This could forebode a coming continental shift.

Cataclysmic shifts don't happen overnight. They begin to accelerate at first as the magnetic field weakens until the field is sufficiently gone to make the mantle - which holds the tectonic plates in a static position - to lose its grip and allow a shift. Read: Cataclysmic Continental Shifts: What Causes Them?

There are currently other anomalies around the world with pockets of reversals in the magnetic fields. These will get bigger and will contribute to a magnetic pole reversal - as well as a cataclysmic continental shift. They say it takes 1000s of years to disappear then reverse, but I think it will happen sooner than that. Maybe in the next hundred years or so.

That's two signs of a coming shift: 1) accelerating tectonic plates 2) weakening geomagnetic field

And it coincides with the prophecies of the last days and the coming earthquakes, and fiery demise of our planet. As the geomagnetic field weakens and the tectonic plates start to move, the seismic activity will increase, weather patterns will change - and increasingly so.

Revelation 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
Think about that. A coming great earthquake worse than the earthquakes accompanying the global flood of Noah. That is ominous, because the mountains at that time added around 6000 feet of elevation, the continents of Europe and North America split apart and added 3000 miles to the North Atlantic.

We know that the world will NOT be flooded again, so the flooding will be minimal (the ocean basins are much deeper and the mountains much higher now than they were before the last cataclysmic continental shift) - but the fiery volcanic activity will be unprecedented.

If the Yellowstone hot spot is a part of the turmoil, ash will blanket the western half of the USA and be so thick that cars won't start, airplanes and helicopters won't fly and water supplies will be contaminated. After mixing with rain water, ash turns to concrete - so roofs will collapse. I'm sure there will be other volcanic hot spots around the world and in surprising and unexpected locations.

Ponder on the idea of a thick blanket of ash and smoke surrounding the earth. That would blot out and darken the sun, turn the moon red as if turned to blood and the right low-light conditions that would make the creation of rainbows impossible. All of these are signs of our Lord's eminent return.
